Nuestra estancia en el Melia Hotel fue muy agradable. Estoy especialmente impresionada con el servicio de Nadia. Es muy profesional, siempre tiene una sonrisa y, además, habla francés, lo cual facilitó mucho la comunicación. Lo único que podría mejorar es la relación calidad-precio de la comida. Sin embargo, volveremos definitivamente.

Location - 30 min from Girona airport. 10 min walk to Lloret De Mar beach which is clean and well attended. 5 min walk to Cathedral and museum. 2 min walk to Casino and Theatre. Many small local shops and restaurants close by. Most of the local area is well kept and clean. Check in - check in was fast and efficient. We booked a family Suite for 4 with the Level access plus travelled with 2 others who had a standard room. Rooms - Both rooms were well appointed and very clean. Some small decorations like plants were added as the week went one as the hotel tweaks it's decor post refurb. Plenty of clean towels and comfy robes were provided. Each day the rooms were cleaned and water etc refreshed. Each evening a turn down service was prepared with sleep mask and ear plugs plus chocolate. Mini bar plus standard hot drinks were available. The view from both rooms looked out towards the sea and Lloret de Mar. Black out blinds and netting to the windows made for decent nights sleep although if you are a light sleeper there is some traffic noise from say 8am in the mornings. The level lounge - very light and airy lounge with lovely selection of sweet and savoury snacks. Wine, beer and soft drinks available all day with greater choice between 5-7pm. We fed back that as a family we would have preferred to more easily obtain lounge drinks when down by the pool (it's a short walk but when wet and in swimming gear, not ideal with kids) which was accommodated by the Level team immediately. Beware of the level playlist, this became a running joke with our family that we heard the same songs on repeat all day. Again hotel took the feedback with good nature. Half board service - breakfast and dinner were served in Mosaico which provided a wide selection of hot and cold food. The highlights were the grilled prawns and fresh salads. Freu was not open at the time of our visit. Pool - clean, inviting and well managed. No huge inflatables were allowed in either pool. Lifeguard on duty at all times. Plenty of fresh towels for those who take a towel card for 20 euros which is refunded upon departure. Great scan by the pool service to have drinks delivered directly to your sun bed. Some traffic noise by the pool but it is to expected with the location. New trees growing up will eventually provide more noise shielding. Gaia provides tasty snack style food all day. Activities and kids club - daily fitness schedules available which had 2 classes per day during our stay, gym is small but well appointed, treadmill, weights, punchbag, TRX. Kids club is daily from 11am-1pm on weekdays, following structured activities which our 2 boys loved. Weekend included a 3pm and evening slot. Cinema club, challenges, clay modelling, t shirt design, planting a garden are some of the many enriching activities going on in kids club. Saxophonist and music were on Friday and Saturday which was fun but not over the top or late. Staff - the stars of the show were undoubtedly the staff. Vanessa at the Level breakfast service was so warm, kind and wonderfully efficient. Ronaldo was an expert on the grill (prawns were superb). Zavi at Kidsdom was amazing with our children, so patient and fun! Edgar was great at the fitness classes with his insane burpees and high energy. The staff are friendly and approachable but not intrusive. Javier, Maria and Alexandria from the Level were super efficient in arranging trips and reservations for us with lovely restaurant recommendations. The team are very well trained and seemed so excited to do their best for the hotel and it's guests. We took a chance on this hotel knowing it only opened it doors 2 weeks ago but gave it a try as the Melia brand tend to deliver which they totally did with this hotel too. The hotel is working on some adjustments but any feedback we provided was addressed immediately at the time. A great family break, thank you Melia Lloret de Mar and your lovely team.

Excelente estancia. Acorde a los criterios de calidad de la cadena Melià. Si te lo puedes permitir, recomiendo la suite. Dispone de salón separado del dormitorio con TV en ambas estancias. El baño con bañera de hidromasaje y ducha doble con efecto lluvia. Oasis de paz en una localidad difícil de encontrar.

Muy buena estancia, personal súper amable y simpático. Habitación bonita y con buenas vistas (recomiendo reservar las habitaciones con vistas al jardín o piscina), me gusta mucho que haya una zona de no fumadores en la piscina. La comida muy rica, el desayuno estupendo, había hasta una chica tocando el violín. Nos ha gustado mucho y volveremos con amigos y familia!

Hotel excelente, recién renovado, personal muy atento y servicial. El restaurante está muy bien y en definitiva, estamos muy contentos con la elección.
