Die Lage in der Nähe des Plaza de España ist super für ein Städtetrip. Man kann Vieles zu Fuß erreichen. Das Hotel ist von außen keine Schönheit, sobald man es betritt, spürt man aber die 5 Sterne. Wir hatten ein The Level Zimmer gebucht und checkten separat ein. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend wurde alles erklärt. Der Level-Bereich im EG ist sehr schön. Hier kann man in Ruhe frühstücken, tagsüber immer etwas trinken. Mittags und am Abend gibt es auch leckere Kleinigkeiten zu essen. Stets wird nachgefüllt und man kann auch von einer kleinen Karte warme Gerichte bestellen. Unser Zimmer mit großer Whirlpool-Badewanne im 10. OG hatte einen tollen Ausblick und war recht schön. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, wir haben fantastisch geschlafen. Eine Kaffeemaschine ist vorhanden und Wasser gibt es jeden Tag kostenlos. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Ein Late-Check-Out am Sonntag bis 16 Uhr war kein Problem. Im Hauptrestaurant haben wir 1 Mal gefrühstückt. Das Ambiente ist nicht ganz so überragend. Die Auswahl an Speisen lässt allerdings kaum Wünsche offen. Die nächsten Tage haben wir dann die Level-Lounge bevorzugt, wo es wesentlich ruhiger war. Die dort kleinere Auswahl reicht völlig aus und Eier- bzw. Süßspeisen kann man bestellen. Wir waren nun das 2. Mal hier im Meliã Madrid Princesa und kommen sicher wieder.

Excellent hotel with all the amenities and staff who are completely bilingual. Was greeted by friendly and welcoming staff that provided me with a map and personal take on the nearby attractions to see. Centrally located with delicious food including the breakfast that made walking around very convenient. Room service was on time and of wonderful quality. Would reitun and recommend to others.
