In November 2024, we had the pleasure of spending 15 dreamlike days at the Meliá Punta Cana Beach Wellness Inclusive – Adults Only for the second time, and we were absolutely thrilled. One thing is already certain: we’ll definitely be back next year! A Concierge Like No Other What truly made this stay exceptional was our personal concierge, Jenfry de Jesús. Words can hardly express how grateful and impressed we are with his support, warmth, and professionalism. Jenfry wasn’t just available at any time; he often fulfilled our wishes before we even voiced them. From restaurant reservations to special requests and all the little details that make a stay extra special – Jenfry always gave it his all. It’s immediately clear that Jenfry doesn’t see his job as merely work; he performs it with genuine passion. His attentive and warm-hearted manner made us feel like true VIP guests. In all the years we’ve been visiting Meliá hotels, we’ve never had a concierge like him. For us, Jenfry is not only the best concierge we’ve ever encountered but also one of the main reasons we plan to return to this hotel. His dedication elevated our vacation from “very good” to “perfect.” A Team That Embodies Hospitality Of course, we must also mention the rest of the team. Every staff member at the hotel was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always eager to fulfill our every wish. Whether in the restaurant, at the bar, or on the beach – the service was simply outstanding. You can feel that the staff work with heart, which is exactly what makes the stay so special. Relaxing Days in a Small Paradise The hotel’s grounds are beautiful, well-maintained, and ideal for a wellness retreat. The peaceful, relaxed atmosphere and the extensive range of offerings ensure that you can truly let your soul unwind here. We felt completely at ease and enjoyed every minute of our stay. A Few Suggestions for Improvement As enthusiastic as we are, there are two points where we feel improvements could be made: 1. Desserts in the Restaurants: Unfortunately, the desserts didn’t meet our expectations. Compared to the otherwise excellent cuisine, the desserts often seemed uninspired and lacking in creativity. A bit more imagination here would be welcome. 2. Handling Heavy Rainfall: During the heavy rain showers we experienced during our vacation, it became apparent that the resort is not optimally prepared for such weather. Many paths and flower beds were flooded, which sometimes made it difficult to leave the room in the evenings. As such weather conditions are likely to occur more frequently during this season, we hope that solutions can be found here. Our Verdict: A Vacation That Sets the Standard Despite these small critiques, our stay was absolutely fantastic – above all thanks to Jenfry de Jesús, who made our vacation unforgettable. His exceptional care took our stay to a whole new level and will remain a cherished memory for a long time. Thank you, Jenfry – you are the epitome of a perfect host! You see the effort they are all putting in there. The whole staff does an outstanding job. The food is delicious and you have a lot of options to chose from. The whole team makes your stay at Melia Punta Cana Beach unforgettable. You will love the country and the people for their culture and heart! The staff at the different bars and restaurants espescially at the Elxyr Bar like Wander, Rosalia, Alberto and Adolfo ❤️ Rosa and Margarita at the beach bar doing an outstanding job in keeping you hydrated and making all your wishes come true. Excellent job.
