They say that the most international city in Germany has two side: the first its famous financial centre, modern, avant-garde and dominated by skyscrapers, and the second its fairytale historical centre.
The city of markets
The centre of the old town in this wonderful German city is home to the popular Römerberg Square and the Church of St. Nicholas. Most of the buildings in this square had to be rebuilt after being destroyed during World War II. One of the most popular visits is the Cathedral of St. Bartholomew, with a tower with stunning views of Frankfurt. The Frankfurt Stock Exchange, with its popular bull and bear statue, is the third largest in the world. And if you like flea markets, you’re in luck: you’re in the perfect city.
