Bohemian lights

The most popular city in the Netherlands has 100 kilometres of canals. Taking a river cruise to explore them is a great way to discover some of the largest and most spectacular canals such as Herengracht, Keizersgracht or Prinsengracht. Bicycles are also a hallmark of the city. A great way to discover the Bloemenmarkt flower market and floating shops, or to get to the house and museum where Anne Frank and her family hid from the Nazis. In the museum district, the Van Gogh Museum brings together the best collection of art by the famous post-impressionist artist who was born in the city. Other essential sights in Amsterdam are the bohemian district of Jordaan, with its labyrinth of narrow and somewhat gloomy streets, or the Red Light District, where everything is possible at night.
