May be pricey but a place to stay for once... the staff are very friendly.. they remember your name.. daily..

We spent two nights at Villa Agrippina Gran Melia Hotel as part of a Viking Cruise and were delighted by the excellent service, amenities, room, and staff. The grounds are beautiful. Marco Mangravita, the Maitre D' Hotel, had a wonderful wait staff that was very responsive to all our dining needs and we would like to recognize Constantine, Flavia and so many of the staff for providing a beautiful experience.

As part of a Viking cruise, my husband and I had a two-night stay at this lovely hotel. The room was spotless, the amenities were plentiful, and the service was outstanding. Included in the cost was a delicious breakfast buffet that truly had something for everyone. We would like to give special thanks to Eleonora and Lucrezia, two hostesses at the morning buffet who were so kind, friendly and helpful. They both took the extra time to make sure we had comfortable seating, plenty of food and a most relaxing time. We give them, the hotel and the entire staff an enthusiastic 5-star review.

A beautiful hotel made great by the amazing staff. They effortlessly deliver excellent service without being overbearing. Oh, and the breakfast service is spectacular - brilliant people working in there. Recommend *****

Albergo extra lusso, non molto comodo da raggiungere coi mezzi pubblici. Stanze molto ampie ma alcuni dettagli non convincono: in primis il bagno con le pareti trasparenti, la vasca/doccia scomoda e scivolosa, i numerosi (troppi) interruttori per le luci (e alla fine per spegnere la abat-jour ho dovuto staccare la spina...). Ristorante molto buono, spazi ampi e servizio impeccabile. Costo importante.
