Reviews of Meliá Sierra Nevada

We stayed at Hotel Meliá Sierra Nevada and, unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience for my family. First and foremost, food safety regarding allergens was not respected during our stay. As someone with Food restrictions in the family (my kid of 8 years old), consumed food that had no reference to the allergens, namely milk, it was alarming to see that allergen information was not clearly displayed or properly communicated. This lack of attention to such an important matter made dining stressful and unsafe. Additionally, the cleanliness of the rooms was questionable. We noticed that the rooms were not thoroughly cleaned during check in, and there were visible signs of neglect, which made our stay uncomfortable. i.e - A piece of chewing gum was carelessly left stuck to the our kids bedpost, even after the bed had supposedly been made by the staff. To make matters worse, the pool area procedures for families were disrespectful. We were hoping to enjoy some peaceful, quality time in the pool with our children, but the recent restrictions to not accept children minor to 10 years in the same pool and spa, brought a chaotic environment, with no respect for families trying to relax together. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, especially for a hotel of this reputation. I would strongly recommend addressing these issues to improve the experience for future guests.

Escelente en todos los aspectos, desayuno genial

El hotel lo tiene todo, está a pie de pista, cerca de todo, restaurante, tiendas, terrazas, etc. En la misma entrada tiene un local con alquiler de equipo y clases particulares de esquí y snow. Y en la misma planta del garaje tiene las taquillas para guardar el equipo y cambiarte. Las habitaciones estándar están muy bien de tamaño, las camas son muy cómodas, y el baño es amplio y completo. Tiene un Spa con piscina climatizada con chorros a presión y burbujas, sauna y masajes. El comedor es amplio y tiene mucha variedad de comidas de calidad, frutas, verduras, pastas, sopas, cremas, arroces, carnes, pescados, embutidos, quesos, varios panes, aceites, etc. Todo buenísimo. Tiene una terraza para tomar algo muy agradable. Y el personal de todo el hotel es muy atento y educado.

Excelente ubicación, cerca de la plaza central. Habitación perfecta y buen buffet de desayunos y cenas. Por la noche una orquesta ameniza la velada. Hemos disfrutado del servicio Level donde incluía acceso al spa y a una tranquila sala donde tomar un café o aperitivo. Volveremos la próxima temporada
