Entramos dos noches. En la primera nos fuimos porque nadie vino a atendernos. La segunda, nos dio las buenas noches una camarera al llegar y nos vio entrar. “We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel with our family. Special compliments to two women working at the reception who were incredibly kind and friendly. They connected so genuinely with our young daughter that she started calling them her friends. Our suite was spacious and comfortable for a family stay. The gym is very small, but it features new Technogym equipment, which is enough for a quality cardio session with a great view of the Acropolis. There are also a few dumbbells available. The location is good. Don’t pay too much attention to other comments. Everything is within walking distance, and we felt safe in the area even at night with a child. As for the downsides, the room is quite dated and some things did not work properly. The water pressure in the shower was weak, the bathtub only worked with the shower head, and although the TV itself is good, it is practically useless as there is no working internet or apps. You cannot watch YouTube or Netflix. The biggest disappointment was the housekeeping. During our four-night stay, the room was cleaned only once, and even then it was limited to making the bed. Used cups were not removed or replaced. On other days, despite us being out for 5–6 hours after breakfast, the room was still not cleaned when we returned. Housekeeping would come only when our child was already asleep. This is far below expected standards and does not match the price paid. The breakfast area is also quite small and crowded. Tables are not cleared quickly enough, and the food selection is limited and not in line with the overall level of the hotel. Despite all of this, we did enjoy our stay. Just don’t expect luxury.”

“I had a very great stay here at Melia athens! And will definitely come back. The sky lounge is beautiful and bet it’s lively during the summer. I can view the parthenon from the rooftop. The location was perfect for me as well, easy to the metro station and also by walking. The nearest metro would be omonia station and just about 4-5 mins walk to the hotel. “Alles war super. Aus meiner Sicht eignet sich das Hotel sehr gut für einen Kurztrip bzw. einen Aufenthalt von 2–4 Nächten. Das Essen im Hotel (Room Service und Restaurant) ist sehr gut, und die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und sauber. Der Spa-Bereich ist privat und kann gebucht werden – nicht groß, aber mit Dampfbad, Relaxraum und Sauna völlig ausreichend für ein paar Tage. Auch der Fitnessraum ist gut ausgestattet. Insgesamt also eine sehr gute Wahl für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist grundsätzlich in Ordnung und recht zentral – man ist zu Fuß in etwa 15–18 Minuten im Monastiraki-Zentrum. Questa volta non è andata come mi aspettavo poiché pur avendo prenotato 2 camere triple Supreme per 5 adulti ci siamo ritrovati in 2 camere matrimoniali dove in una avevano aggiunto 1 lettino in uno spazio così angusto che avevo ai piedi la scrivania e alla testa la poltrona ovviamente inutilizzabile ed il comodino. Dalla vasca munita di microfono per la doccia appendi aprivi l'acqua la stessa fuoriusciva dalla base della vasca allagando il bagno. Ho prontamente fatto presente alla reception che non erano le camere da noi prenotate ma mi è stato risposto seccamente che non c'era altro e di rivolgermi all'agenzia che mi aveva fatto la prenotazione. Devo segnalare la cattiva gestione della sala colazioni dove non avendo un referente e mancando il personale se non lo si chiamava, non abbiamo trovato posto poiché i tavoli da 6 erano occupati da 1 persona. Si doveva chiedere di rimpiazzare quello che mancava chiamando il cameriere nella piccola cucina adiacente altrimenti nessuno se ne curava i piatti e le ciotole che rimpiazzavano al buffet erano completamente bagnati e vi si attaccava di tutto. Tutto questo accadeva in orario di colazione non fuori orario! Noi si è scesi sempre per le 9-9,30. La terrazza con vista inaccessibile. Salvo solo la posizione buona per girare a piedi”
