The food at Sal is amazing!! Ventura our waiter was excellent and the service is top rated! Yen is our Reserve concierge and she is very attentive to our needs. We are definitely returning and highly recommend this resort!!

I’m very very happy with our experience! This review is a bit lengthy but I touched on everything I had questions or was weary about before going. It was a 7 night stay as a couple. I was nervous because the social media presence was a very bad reflection of what this resort actually was. However, I think they’re in a transitional phase as they go from being family friendly to adults only within this last year. With that said, so many nice upgrades and attention to sophisticated amenities! I’ll break it down a bit - Service: absolutely incredible! I truly can’t say enough about the service. Everyone was so attentive and always checking in to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Our concierge, Manuel, was so friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make our experience great. Room service came regularly and kept everything clean. We were even surprised by chocolate covered strawberries and champagne when we got back from dinner one night. Upgrades: your access and attentiveness depends on the color of your wrist band!! This wasn’t very clear initially. At first we were given a regular junior garden view suite. We were offered an upgrade to the reserve for more perks (concierge, access to an additional pool, restaurant, bar, and lounge) and an additional fee. It was 100% worth the additional fee!! Environment: throughout 8 days, the vibe changed a bit but overall was mostly calm and relaxing. A few times it livened up in the pool but if you’re looking for a party scene, this isn’t it. There was no night life after like 11pm when the music stops and everything is very quiet and closed. Much more relaxing than party vibe. Very close to downtown though. Amenities and Spaces: lots of activities to join onsite, very good food - even in the poolside food truck, reserve lounge had lots of snacks a bar, shelves of wine and champagne and a beautiful floor to ceiling view of the ocean, there was a coffee shop and ice cream shop open almost all day and into night! Such a fun touch. The only thing we felt was wasted and marketed wrong was the rooftop bar. It’s only used for morning yoga and weddings etc. don’t expect this to be a night spot. Meliá rewards: we had a terrible experience sitting in on the Meliá rewards info session. The “closer” was rude and made comments like “it’s not rocket science you either want to or you don’t”. I wouldn’t ever sign up for this because of the treatment of the salesman. However, it was an hour of our time and we got a free excursion. Overall, it was a really great experience. We would definitely come again. Mostly, thank you Manuel!!!

We just returned from Paradisus Los Cabos - Adults only. The service was outstanding. The hotel staff was so kind and exceptional. We dined in a different restaurant every night to experience the food. The "Mexican Restaurant" was so bad. The food was very dissappointing and they could not make a decent margarita! We complained the next morning to the General Manager. He was so kind to take of the issue right away. He offered for us go dine at the Steak House complimentary on the hotel. The food was excellent. The pool needs to have cool water flushed into it during the hotter months. The pool was too warm. As a suggestion... during the humid months, they need a large area facing the ocean for guests to be able to go to and relax, visit, read, do whatever and it be air conditioned. There was no relief during the day unless you went back to your room. The property is plain but the service was exceptional! The food at all of the other restaurants were so delicious. Visit this property when it is not so humid and the experience will be amazing.

The service and the friendliness of the staff make this place really standout. I cannot say enough good things about the service. The food is substantially superior to the Punta Cana Falcon. But if you are looking for great pools and excellent service again this place beats Falcon. Don't get me wrong, there are some awesome staff at Falcon but here literally everyone is great. The rooms are a bit dated. But if you are looking for a room get the swimup with ocean view. See my photos of the staff on Google Maps
