“Vamos cada año al Sol Marina y he de decir que ha dado un salto de calidad importante con la reforma de parte de las habitaciones. Se nota bastante el cambio: más modernas, más cómodas y mucho más acordes con lo que uno espera cuando viene a Torremolinos a descansar, comer espetos o a disfrutar de su extensa oferta de clubes de swingers. Mención especial para Felipe, amo y señor de la tienda del hotel. Después de años curtido en la noche ibicenca, maneja los tiempos y a los clientes con la tranquilidad de quien ha visto cosas que nosotros no creeríamos. Sabe cuándo aparecer, cuándo solucionar un problema y, sobre todo, cuándo es mejor no hacer preguntas. Un profesional. Lo más parecido a un ninja que te puedes encontrar en un hotel. Rey! La ubicación también es perfecta: chiringuitos cerca, parada de taxis a mano y un kebab estratégicamente situado para tomar a altas horas de la madrugada decisiones que jamás tomarías a plena luz del día. Consejo: pedid las patatas sin salsa. Parece que anda un pirómano suelto por la zona con cierta animadversión hacia las salsas y tampoco hace falta tentar a la suerte. En el lado mejorable, las habitaciones que todavía no están reformadas mantienen una relación demasiado estrecha con el sol. Si tienes resaca, descubrirás que las cortinas son más una declaración de intenciones que una barrera física y que la piscina empieza su actividad cuando tú todavía estás negociando con tu sistema nervioso. Tampoco hay toallas en la piscina, un detalle que te obliga a una planificación logística que considero incompatible con estar de vacaciones. También ha bajado un poco el nivel de los espectáculos de la piscina, especialmente el show estrella: “El Circo”. Hubo una época gloriosa con campeones de deportes extremos, números capaces de poner contra las cuerdas al Cirque du Soleil y al Mago Pop y una dirección artística que parecía salida directamente de la mente de un mono esquizofrénico. No sabías muy bien qué estaba pasando, pero tampoco podías dejar de mirar. Menos control, más espectáculo. En cualquier caso, recomendable 100%. Volvemos cada año y seguiremos haciéndolo. Plan sin fisuras. Escribo esta reseña principalmente para acordarme de traer una toalla el año que viene. Ahí te veo, Felipe.”See more reviews

“En general, la estancia ha sido muy buena y hemos estado muy a gusto. Como aspectos a mejorar, el buffet tiene poca variedad, por lo que sería interesante ampliar un poco la oferta. Las habitaciones están bien en general, aunque presentan algunos pequeños desperfectos que sería importante revisar y cuidar para mantenerlas en mejores condiciones. Lo que considero más importante es el horario de entrada a las habitaciones. Cada vez se entra más tarde y esta vez no pudimos acceder hasta las 17:00 h. Creo que este aspecto debería revisarse, ya que es bastante tarde para poder disfrutar de la habitación el día de llegada. También mejoraría el sistema de los dispensadores de gel y champú. Entiendo que se utilicen para evitar que los productos se retiren, pero el sistema actual es muy difícil de utilizar. En mi caso, estuve casi 20 minutos intentando sacar el champú antes de poder ducharme. Por otro lado, quiero destacar especialmente al personal. Los camareros son súper simpáticos, agradables y atentos, siempre pendientes de los más pequeños y haciendo que la estancia sea todavía más agradable.”See more reviews
