Hotels in Aachen

One of the most historic cities in Germany, with magnificent hot springs and spas where you can relax after a day spent strolling the streets of a city that is like a large open-air museum.

The capital city of Emperor Charlemagne

On the border with Belgium and the Netherlands, over the centuries Aachen witnessed the coronation of many of the emperors of the Holy Roman Empire. Charlemagne proclaimed it capital and it became his preferred Imperial residence. Among many monuments, one of the most famous is the beautiful cathedral in the heart of the old city, the first UNESCO World Heritage Site in Germany. The city is also well known for its hot springs and spas.
