Hotels in Cadiz

Founded by the Phoenicians more than 3,000 years ago, this ancient port city in southwestern Spain has a very long history. Discover the city with a visit to its historic centre, see the beautiful coastline and taste the delicious cuisine.

The best fried fish in the world

Crossing Constitution Bridge gives you the first taste of what awaits you in this beautiful city built on a strip of land surrounded by the sea. The bridge is 3 kilometres long and 185 metres high and is a colossal feat of engineering. Designed by Javier Manterol to join Cadiz to the Peninsula. In the city itself, the golden tiles on the dome of its 18th-century cathedral are a huge contrast to the endless white houses. The Tavira Tower has the best views in a city that has more than a hundred towers and viewpoints. If you’re planning to visit Cadiz on holiday, you must not miss the picture-postcard image of the sunset in La Caleta or sitting on a terrace to sample the most typical cuisine: fried fish, marinated school shark and prawn omelettes.
