“Before arriving, I wrote on the hotel’s website that it was my first time coming to Germany with my family and I would be happy if it was possible to get a room with a nice view. At the reception, they told me that if I wanted a room with a view, I had to pay an extra fee. I said I did not want to pay extra, and then they gave me a room with probably the worst view, on the 2nd floor facing the back side of the hotel. Also, there was no power outlet near the bed, which was very inconvenient. In addition, although in most hotels check-in time is at 14:00, in this hotel the check-in time is 15:00, which is quite late compared to many other hotels.”

“Fantastic hotel in a perfect location. We stayed a couple of nights 2025 and saw so much of Berlin, just walking around. As it was my 50th birthday we upgraded to a fancier room on a specific floor, for about 50 Euros. I highly recommend doing that! The loungearea on that floor was really good. One in the staff, named Yosuf Khan took amazing care of us. He deserves six stars!!! We'll be coming back soon :D”

“What a fantastic hotel. From start to finish it was impeccable. Check in was super quick and our room was ready two hours early! We paid for the Level and the spent late afternoons, before heading into Berlin, enjoying the drinks and snacks that are put on for you. We didn’t eat at the hotel, other than breakfast and again this was all top quality. The room was spacious and really clean with daily maid service. Location is perfect with the hotel being a 4-minute walk from Friedrichstraße station and within a 10-minute stroll to all the major tourist attractions. There are lots of restaurants and bars in the area too.”

“Das Meliá Berlin liegt absolut zentral und ist wunderbar erreichbar. Der Service war wirklich gut und zuvorkommend. Abzüge gibt es für die Klimaanlage, die wirklich konsequent die ganze Nacht lief und den Föhn, welcher leider direkt aus der Steckdose kam. Das Kabel war wesentlich zu kurz. Insgesamt ist das Hotel aber empfehlenswert.”

“Die Lage ist top, keine Frage! Atmosphäre und Service in der Tapas Bar des Melia gefällt uns auch immer wieder gut. Ein bisschen schade war es jedoch, dass die meisten Tapas fad schmeckten, es fehlte fast überall an Würze. Beim Frühstück kann es leider auch keine 5 Sterne geben; unpassend für ein Hotel dieser Klasse war für mich ist der Einsatz von Flüssig-Ei beim Omelett. Auf Nachfrage wirkte der Koch peinlich berührt... Anstelle der vorgeschnittenen Brotscheiben, hätte ich mir frisch gebackene Laibe gewünscht. Richtig gut dagegen war die Humus, Frischkäse, Antipasti - Ecke.”

Близко ко всем достопримечательностям города. Близко расположен вокзал, кафе, магазины. Большой минус-это была парковка! Вся парковка была залита канализацией. Ее постоянно убирали, но все было бестолку. Был жуткий запах. Не возможно было подойти к машине из-за огромной лужи. Я надеюсь, что эту поломку быстро потом устранили.”
