Good hotel but kept all the old decorations when it first opened up which is a shock since this is a 4 star hotel because you expect something more decorative and new. The staff were good but everything seems to have lost it´s charm and the pool (the powerhouse of why this hotel is so popular) was DIRTY and full of bugs!! It´s okay but I would recommend other hotels..

Right on the beach - and it is a great beach! Hotel is clean, but found the family room for 4 people small. One shared bathroom. The other two rooms are the bedrooms which are barely big enough to fit a double bed. Outdoor pools are very good with lifeguards during opening hours. Entertainment is great for small kids - maybe up to around 10-12yrs, but ours are 13 and 15yrs and had no interest whatsoever. Neither did we! We went half board. Part of the package, so not sure what the actual cost was. They will charge an additional €22 per person for any guests or if you want breakfast, lunch and dinner. No way would I pay that.. the all you can eat buffet style is plentiful but low-med quality. Not even necessarily hot! There is a wide variety of food, that looked good but wasn't restaurant standard. The freshly cooked stuff (eg breakfast omelette) was good. Good range of cold meats, dried fruits and fresh fruit. They charge extra for drinks and stop you using the juice machine at dinner in a bid to get you to pay more for fizzy drinks, water, wine etc. Buffet style also seems to bring out people's animal instincts. Courtesy seems to have gone out of the window. We found that unless we got in at opening, the search for a free table to be a little stressful. Dunno if they're running at capacity, but we normally found it took a couple of curcuits to find an empty table. It can be like claiming a lounger by the pool. Overall, wrong choice of hotel for us. We would have been better with more adult/older children hotel, with a proper restaurant not included in the cost - giving choice to eat out in town which is only a 10-15min walk from here (lots of alternative hotels within walking distance of town). I can see the appeal for families with young children. Pools are great and an all you can eat wide range okish food. When my kids were younger they loved this sort of thing. Older children won't be interested in the entertainment (mine are 13 and 15). Although pools are good, proximity to the beach (and busyness of pools) meant we much prefered the beach.
