This is one of the most beautiful places on the Spanish Costa del Sol. Its picturesque white streets with coloured flowerpots and even more colourful flowers give it a typically Andalusian feeling, in contrast to the murals on its façades.
Urban art on the coast
We’ll start exploring Estepona with a walk along its seafront promenade to Rada Beach. The coastline is as beautiful as the historic centre, with the Plaza de las Flores at its heart. A great place to sit and enjoy a drink while admiring the street art. The different districts in the city are home to more than fifty urban murals painted on building façades. Another great idea for making the most of your holiday in Estepona is a visit to the Punta Doncella Lighthouse, with spectacular views of the Mediterranean and Gibraltar, or the 18th-century Church of the Virgen de los Remedios and the Clock Tower. If you’re a bullfighting fan, the city has a Bullfighting Museum dedicated to the bullfighter Antonio Ordónez, and which connects directly with the bullring.
